GB and priest Nyakar Koyu passes away

GB and priest Nyakar Koyu passes away ITANAGAR, Feb 23: Gaon Burah of Old Seren, East Siang and priest (पुजारी) Nyakar Koyu passed away at his residence on February 19. Born on 1930, Koyu was a gifted priest, who knew the art of healing(चिकित्सा) by traditional rituals(रसम रिवाज) . Mourning the death of late Koyu, Nari Koyu MLA Kento Rina said that Koyu’s contribution as a GB in

his village as well his able assistance to the administration (प्रशासन) and his role as a priest, who reached out to many in need will be remembered for long.

Late Koyu left behind his wife Ike Koyu and children.
