AFCAT 2017 Answer Keys Releasing Today

AFCAT 2017 Answer Keys Releasing Today e official AFCAT 2017 answer keys will be released in about a week. Meanwhile many of the coaching institutions such as Minerva academy, Cavalier academy and Baalnoi academy solve the AFCAT question papers and upload the answers keys online. The Indian Air Force (IAF) has conducted the Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) 2017 on February 26th as per the schedule. The notification was issued on December 2nd, applications had commenced from December 3rd and ended on December 29th, 2016. The admit cards were uploaded on January 27th, 2017. The candidates who applied for technical branch also appeared for the Engineering Knowledge Test (EKT).


AFCAT 2017 answer keys are released online by many of the coaching institutions and the Indian Air Force administration as well. While the official answer keys will be out in few days, the unofficial answer keys and solutions will be out beginning Sunday evening only.


Monday Afternoon Update: As of Monday afternoon, no coaching service provider has uploaded the answer keys online. Keep checking, we’ll update here once something new comes up. The answer keys will be available in the evening.


About AFCAT:


AFCAT, simply known as Indian Air Force exam is a national level competitive examination conducted to recruit officers for all branches in Air Forces except medical/dental branches. The test is conducted two times in a year, once in February and second time in August/September. The officers are normally recruited under 3 branches i.e., the Flying branch, the Technical branch and the Ground Duty branch.


The Flying branch deals with Fighters, Transports, and Helicopters. The Technical branch consists of the Mechanical and Electronic aspects, and the Ground Duty branch comprises of Administration, Accounts, Logistics, Education and Meteorology.


The test is for both men and women. Whereas for women only short service commission jobs are available, men can opt for permanent as well short service commission. The eligibility and details vary for branch to branch. Candidates can read official notification for in-depth information.


AFCAT exam details:


AFCAT question paper carried 100 questions, each question consisting of 3 marks. Meaning, the candidate will be allotted full 3 marks for the right answers. However, the provision of negative marking is also there which dictates the deduction of 1 mark upon every wrong answer. The test duration is 2 hours.


The questions asked in AFCAT 2017 consisted of four sections i.e., General Awareness, Verbal Ability in English, Numerical Ability, and Reasoning & Military Aptitude Test.


AFCAT answer keys:


Indian Air Force releases the AFCAT answer keys after few days of the examination. The answer keys are uploaded at it’s official website (www.careerairforce.nic.in).


Usually four seats are distributed among the candidates in the test and the answer keys are released separately for all sets. While checking the answer keys, candidates have to make sure of the set they were given in the exam and then tally their answers versus the correct answers published in the official answer keys.


Apart from official answer keys, many coaching institutes also upload the AFCAT question paper, solutions with answer keys. We’ll be updating this page with answer keys from all sources.


Results:


In February 2016, the exam was held on February 21 and the results were announced on 2nd April, 2016. Considering that, AFCAT result 2017 might get announced by the first week of April. The results are uploaded in the form of a merit list which contains the list of candidates shortlisted to appear for the next round of selection criteria i.e., SSB.
